The project "Remote Labs with Focus on Ukraine" in cooperation with T.I.M.E. Association

First day of the project "Remote Labs with Focus on Ukraine" in Wroclaw: successful!
An important international project "Development of remote laboratories with a focus on Ukraine" (T.I.M.E. Association) has started in Wroclaw, Poland. The first day was eventful and gave a great start for further cooperation.
The event started with registration, light food and coffee in the hall of the D21 building (Wroclaw University of Technology), which allowed the participants to informally get acquainted and prepare for the busy program.

Then, at 13:00, there was a welcome lecture by Professor Grzegorz Lesiuk from the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. After that, each organizer had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their role in the project, devoting up to 10 minutes to this. Among them were Torkel Werge, Advisor, KTH, International relations-contact and Anton Lavrinenkov, PhD, Assistant Professor, Head of Department Head of the Department of Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering, Education and Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, as well as representatives of all Ukrainian universities present at this event. This helped to create a common vision and establish first contacts.
Two laboratory sessions were of particular interest. The first, "Energy Laboratory", was presented by Taras Koturbash from the Department of Energy Technology KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden). After a short coffee break, the participants moved on to Lab 2: Industry 4.0, presented by Dr. Marcin Korzeniowski from Department of Metal Forming, Welding and Metrology of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. These sessions allowed to delve into the practical aspects of remote lab development and discuss innovative approaches.
After a productive working day, the participants had time for a short break for a refreshing drink, which allowed them to relax a bit and exchange first impressions. The first day of the project "Remote Lab Development with a Focus on Ukraine" was extremely productive and inspiring. We are looking forward to the continuation of this important project!
