The educational program "INSTRUMENTAL SYSTEMS OF ENGINEERING DESIGN" is a modern educational program which prepares the expert capable to solve difficult perspective problems of world mechanical engineering industry in the directions of harmonious combination of aesthetic, ergonomic and techno-economic parameters of science-intensive products.
In senior courses we give students the opportunity to form their competencies in the direction of "Instrumental Systems and Technologies of Parts Shaping" within which the design and technological training in the field of tool production and technologies of its maintenance is conducted, as well as enhanced computer training in design of 3D CAD modeling of complex products and tool systems, their improvement and optimization.
Thanks to two international joint training centers for CAD/CAM technologies, students study modern software, such as Autodesk, in choosing competencies in the field of "Engineering Design", where students gain a thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering, artistic design on basis of computer training, study disciplines in modern materials science, integrated technologies, equipment and tools, design and reengineering.
The basis of specialization is the engineering design of machines for various industries, taking into account aesthetics, ergonomics, functionality. The disciplines of computer support of engineering activity are in-depth study - programming of CNC equipment, automation of engineering design, technologies of three-dimensional (3D) printing.
